Sharan Forest is a thick pine forest on the mountain facing Shogran in Kaghan Valley. Little sunlight reaches the forest floor, and a stream runs through it, so the air stays cool and fresh even in summer. The forest is reached by jeep from Paras, along a steep and bumpy track after crossing the Kunhar River. Visitors come for quiet walks, camping pods, bonfire evenings and treks to nearby waterfalls and Manshi Top.
