Day-by-day itinerary
1Rawalpindi/Islamabad → Balakot → Paras → Sharan Forest → Return▼
Depart very early (around 3:00 to 4:00 am) and drive via Mansehra and Balakot to Paras, with a breakfast stop on the way. Transfer to jeeps for the rough ride to Sharan Forest (about 1.5 hours). Walk in the forest, enjoy tea and photos, then descend by jeep and start the drive back. Enjoy dinner on the return journey and arrive in Rawalpindi and Islamabad late at night.
